Morgan Hill Children’s Business Fair

MH CBF 2023
This one-day fair is where kids aged 6-16 present their small businesses to the public. The community comes to shop and support the young generation of entrepreneurs, free-thinkers, leaders, and creatives.
When I first started the event in 2021 I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. The first year was very challenging as I had never organized an event of such size and impact.
Here we are 4 years later. Each year we have grown in strength, size, and ways we enrich the Morgan Hill Community. I could not have imagined it to be any better.
If you want to learn more about this event please visit my page where I go into more detail about it.
Fair’s Superhero: Diana Legaspi and Guild Mortgage
Diana Legaspi has been one of our biggest supporters since the beginning. I met with her yesterday and we talked about having a job where you feel like you are a superhero. That is quite an awesome feeling. I can relate to that as you can tell by looking at the logo of my photography business. Diana, just like me, knows how it feels to do things we truly love for work. Deep inside this is what I wish for all the kids who join our fair: to find this one (or a few) things that make them feel invincible and then be able to do it for work and help others.
We talked about many other things, like the importance of having a business plan when you start your business… or how to take very small steps toward financial literacy with your kids.
I had another interview with Diana two years ago when she first joined us as a sponsor.
With these two videos, I think, I just gave you enough material for a great movie night with a family.
Educational content for kids and parents.
Lots of words of wisdom.
Instead of Netflix, grab a cup of tea or lemonade, gather your family together, and watch these full of great advice and stories videos.
How can you support the MHCBF?
You can become a sponsor.
You can donate a prize or raffle basket (or an item for raffle basket).
You can become a judge.
You can volunteer.
But the most important one is the community getting together to support these youngpreneurs.
So COME and SHOP!
Small business grows where there are people to support it!
