Life’s Projects

Welcome to the renaissance of my digital space, a rebirth after nearly a decade of hiatus! Here, in the virtual corridors of my blog, I weave together the tapestry of my diverse life projects, each thread contributing to the rich fabric of my passions and pursuits.

Venturing into the realm of education, I proudly present my quite fresh homeschooling project. A few years back, just like many parents out there, I found myself concerned and feeling like I needed to do something about my girls education.
Life has given me the most amazing opportunity to pull my kids out of the school system and start homeschooling. This project has become a journey of self-discovery, a life’s new chapter. Chapter filled with so many questions, so many ups and downs, so many uncertain moments but also moments of big wins, and celebrations. I know I’m not the only one who feels like today’s Homeschooling community is one of a kind and that we need a safe space to come together to share, to support, to learn… Paulo Freire once said, “Education is an act of love, and thus an act of courage.” With this blog I want to inspire parents out there to courageously script the next chapter they found themselves in.

At the heart of it all is my 12-year-strong photography business. It’s more than a profession; it’s my creative escape, it’s an empowerment: for the people in front of the lens and the person behind it (me!). Being a business owner has taught me a lot about freedom of will, freedom of choice, and freedom of opinion. It shaped who I am today, and what I want to teach to my girls.

In the kaleidoscope of my endeavors, the Children’s Business Fair stands tall, a testament to three years of fostering young entrepreneurs. This annual celebration of youthful ingenuity serves not only as a creative marketplace but as a melting pot where the seeds of future leaders and innovators are sown.

The Homeschooling and Children’s Business Fair endeavors, aren’t just mine; they are a community effort to connect homeschooling families and those seeking enriched extracurricular experiences for their children.

As John Holt once said, “Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded.” In the embrace of this philosophy, I want to empower families to make educational choices that align with their beliefs, fostering an environment where curiosity is the compass.
