Breastfeeding is not a macho test of motherhood, with the winner being the one who nurses the longest. In fact there ARE no macho tests of motherhood. Motherhood is — should be — a village, where we explore each other’s choices, learn from them, respect them, and then go off and make our own. [source]
No matter how long I breastfed my No 1 and no matter how long it’s going to take me with the No 2, I’ll be always enough!

That is AWESOME!!! With or without the magazine framing!!!! Love it!
Arline, I just wanted to make it more dramatic with the frame and all 😉

I completely agree. The important thing is that we do what is best for our children & our families. It may not be what someone else would choose- but they have the right to do things differently if they want.
I totally agree with you, Gina!!!
Very clever! You go girl! Multi tasking at it’s best.
Multitasking – that’s what motherhood is all about 🙂
This is awesome.
glad you like it!
This photo is beautiful…the softness of the belly that recently gave birth and the strength of the arms holding a bitty baby…so sweet 🙂
thank you for such a beautiful comment!
oh, that belly… I hope that softness of it won’t stay with me forever,
but the strength of my arms can stay 😉
This is SO amazing! I love it. LOVE.
thank you!!!
Such a good reminder that if we’re doing our best, we’re mom enough! (And we don’t need anyone telling us we’re not!)
we learn how to be mothers through our instinct. there is no school to teach us how to be one. we are all different as well as our children. if we don’t breasfeed it doesn’t mean we are less of a mother than somebody who does…, and breastfeeding is only a small part of the entire motherhood!!!
I SO wish they would have used this photo! And yes, you are so right we are all Mom Enough. I ADORE this photo!!!
