The more I see of man, the more I like dogs – sooo true!!!
The greatest love is a mother’s; then a dog’s; then a sweetheart’s. 😉
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue
If your dog is fat, you’re not getting enough exercise.

Our doggy two days ago!
I’ve spoiled her. A LOT! ;-))))
I have done that, and that’s the only thing I’m really not so upset about… When I met her for the first time she was soooo devoted to her Master 😉 It was incredible. I’d never met a dog that was so trained and obedient before. She would pee, poop, sit up, lay down (etc) on command. She would sleep, and spent most of her days laying in a kennel until she would be told “ok” what means “ok, you can come out”. Such a great dog.
After a month of living together she would come out from her kennel late at night when we were asleep, she would lay down on my side of the bed and sleep there until we wake up. Then she would go back to the kennel. My lovely husband said that she can do that, it isn’t a big deal. The big NO NO he wanted me to be persistent with her was SLEEPING ON THE BED!!!
O yeah!!! This is where the fun begins.
I let her to do that a few times (when he wasn’t watching), and after that I would wake up in the middle of the night with NO HUSBAND in bed instead a doggy… cuddling me.
She wouldn’t jump on the bed when he was somewhere around… And I thought that she’s actually doing it because she wants to lay with me… But my husband straightened my train of thought. He used to say: She is sleeping on the bed when we are not there… It’s not like she wants to be on the bed with you, she likes to be on the bed with nobody around, too. She is just spoiled. You did that to her. She hears our car or motorcycle parking outside, and she jumps down. Believe me!!! I was like: No way. She’s not like that
So, one day we came back from a motorcycle ride. He’d parked the motorcycle far away from our apartment and very carefully and quietly we walked up to the front window. We both peeked through it and there she is Miss LAYING ON THE BED alerted with her ears up like she wasn’t sure if she hears something suspicious… Should I jump off? Are they here!? Is this what I hear!? We were laughing our butts off. She got her ass whooped, and I didn’t let her jump on the bed ever since … She did that a few more times anyway…
She still sleeps on my side of the bed, and when she doesn’t I feel betrayed.lol
Another NO NO when I moved in was: NO DOG IN THE KITCHEN!!! Guess what. Right now when I get tired of her standing on the kitchen floor and looking at me like the most starved dog on this planet and I tell her: kennel, SHE GROANS at me! Can you imagine! It’s not an angry growl, it’s more like: goddamn you woman! She turns around and goes to her kennel but before she lies down she groans again just to show me how disappointed and offended she is!!! Crazy dog!!! My husband makes fun of me that I got what I asked for.
When I was pregnant there wasn’t a better psychologist/therapist like her licking my feet or my back! Yes, my back. She would go with me to the bathroom every single time (she still does that), she would stand or sit very close to the bath tub, and while I was inside she would lick my back. Most of the time she would just sleep on the floor waiting for me to be finished with a bath or shower.

April 21st, 2010. We thought we lost her. Just days before our daughter was born she fell down and stopped moving. She would just look at me like she is in big pain, but she didn’t even groan… nothing… she was just laying there, barely breathing… I called my husband, crying. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH DI. COME HOME RIGHT NOW. PLEASE!!!! We moved her on the bed. We pet her, and talked to her, and I cried, and cried, and cried… She wasn’t moving at all, she was just looking at us, and sometimes it seemed like she is going away but we’d start talking to her: Di stay with us. Don’t leave us. Not now. I told her that a new puppy is gonna be here anytime soon, and she needs to stay with us to see it… She opened her eyes… and when I said: Good doggy she waved her tail. Just a bit, just so we could barely see it, but she did… . We wrapped her in a towel and a blanket and I spent the rest of the day with her in bed… petting her, and talking to her. She is a hunting dog. She’s got her favorite toy that looks like a pheasant. She can play with it very rarely because it’s more like a training toy… SHE LOVES IT. She would do anything for that toy!!! We gave it to her, and she kept it in her mouth for the entire time she spent with us in bed.
After a few hours she started moving little by little… By the dinner time she was crawling. By after dinner time 😉 she could jump off and on the bed by herself… We still don’t know what the hell got into her that day, but she scared us!!! A LOT!!!
These days I feel kind of bad because from the most spoiled girl at the house she became a bit rejected, pushed away girl… Whenever I talk/play with Miss Poppy Pant, Di thinks I talk to her and she jumps with energy and excitement just to be pushed away. I say kennel more often, or get out of my way doggy. Just recently I yelled at her. I wouldn’t do that before… despite all that…Â she still follows me every step I take.
She sits where I’m sitting. She wants to be pet all the time, and if I forget about her she has her ways to remind me that she is still here. She likes to play with our daughter and she loves to lick her…
… and she groans more often… just like me… 😉 They aren’t dangerous or angry groans. They sounds more like a spoiled dog… very spoiled dog… saying that this world is not fair… 😉
