I really would like to make this but I am wondering how greasy this is? I like my lotion to quickly absorb into my skin. Can anyone that had made it give me a heads up? Also, I read that if u add water to lotion it can cause bacteria and mold to grow….any problems with that?

I Have made this twice now. With and without Cocoa butter and I love it both ways. Recipe is easy and lots of lotion for not much cost. Thank you so very much for sharing. 🌼

I love the idea behind this lotion…coffee is my favourite everything lol but I’ve attempted this recipe twice now and it never seems to thicken. I thought maybe the first time I had measured the coffee wrong and added too much…but the second time I made it, I was sure to follow everything to a Tee….any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong?

Before the question is asked, I have used the emulsifying wax both times and I used an Organic Almond OIl as the oil in it, the last time I even shaved the cocoa butter to make sure i was getting the exact 1/2cup.

Any help would be nice, appreciate it!!

In reply to Jayda Creates. citric acid is a natural preservative, as well as coconut oil, but with the coconut oil the consistency might change so I would stick to the citric acid.

Hi! I know this post is pretty old but I am in love and want to try this lotion…. I’ve read through all the comments before asking a question that you have already answered several times… “=” I know this is a natural easy diy….. Can preservatives be added to the mix? I’m not good at remembering to put stuff in the refrigerator.

And when i say any type of wax i mean do u have to use wax
