Enjoying our time before the big change

This is definitely my last post before the second baby arrival and probably my last post for a while.

This past weekend we enjoyed great weather and even with me feeling uncomfortable and tired we had spent some time playing together outdoors.

Saturday we spent our afternoon in the nearby park:

On Sunday we went to a great Farm Park, one of our favorite places to visit.

This mean creature was trying to find a way to bite me for the entire time I stand in front of her.

This one didn’t give a damn about anybody and anything. Oh, how jealous I felt looking at her:

Didn’t know what to think about this one:

That didn’t look comfortable but different things work for different creatures. right?:

We found some eggs, too! They weren’t painted and, I bet they didn’t taste like chocolate either.

Our daughter had the most fun!

Finally, yesterday I made a hat for our soon-to-be born:

If you interested in the pattern – it’s from here. Of course I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t change a few things in this pattern but that’s not important 😉

I have never crochet a hat before so this was a bit intimidating.

There is a few things I want to have done for her (read: crochet) before she gets here but I think I won’t make it… Still, there will be plenty of time in the hospital so I am not so worried. I just want to have a few cute things for her newborn pictures. Though, I have no idea if I’ll be up to doing it when I get back. I hope I will.

Till then, my friends!

Oh, how wonderful that you had such a fun outing! She looked like she had such a good time. I’ve seen many goats do that. It is so….strange that they’d choose that position! ha!
We’ll be waiting for you. We’re all looking forward to your future self-portraits and seeing the little one. And hearing how you’re feeling. My favorite thing about your blog is your honesty. Instead of the boring old, “Life is so wonderful. I’m so happy, blah, blah, blah.” You took a picture on the bed the other day and said, “When is this day going to be over?” ha! It made me laugh. I’m having one of those today! Post when you can, we’ll wait for you.
Go live your fantastic life! Much love and hugs from me and Matt.

ah, the trip before the ‘trip’ i envy all the wonderful photographic memories you have made while you had time..
after my third one, someone said–“it takes all day to raise one child–and it takes all day to raise three” (i wanted 2–got one bonus)..
see? your days will still be yours, just ’cause you’re smart, and if you keep sharing pictures like these you’ll get all kinds of support, as jenn says, your honesty will keep us right there with you..
more hugs and empathy..may you suffer little pain and reap much sympathy–knit yourself a good time or rest..

You’ve probably had your beautiful new baby by now so CONGRATULATIONS!!! I nominated you for a Liebster award. I know you are super busy and wont have time to blog, etc but your blog is one of my favorite to read and constantly inspires me. I felt it was only fitting to pass the award your way. 🙂
