365 Self-portrait Project (week 12)

I’m so happy that despite all those problems I had last week I made it to this week and the project is still up and running 🙂

Shots from this week are not really good. They are dark and grainy and I wasn’t very inspired in general. My contractions decreased around Monday, mostly because I stopped doing almost everything. Since then most of my time I spent on the sofa watching tv, reading a book and playing with my almost forgotten old photos because I didn’t have anything new (only my self-portraits) to play with… ah and in the meantime I wrote something for World Moms Blog. Post is up today: “From Picky Eater to Spinach Smoothie Enthusiast”. Feel free to stop by and grab a recipe for a delicious spinach smoothie!

Saturday I was playing with my reflections in the ovens’ door and my daughter joined along 🙂 She loves when somebody sits on the floor. She gets very excited when that happens.

Lady Big it should say 😉

As I said… Most of the time I’m on the sofa. Here, I’m reading Terry Pratchett’s book. I forgot how I love this guy but now I got a few of his books that I haven’t read and I’m all set for my bed rest.

After we came back from the doctor’s appointment where I was introduced to not so satisfying news. My doctor said she wants to keep me pregnant as long as 39 weeks despite those contractions. She just said that in case if they get really bad and regular I have to go to the hospital and most likely I will have that baby delivered. As of today I have just a few contractions during the entire day and they are not very painful. It looks like the baby will come on scheduled time. Good for her but not very comfortable for me.

Reading my cook book I won from The Country Cook giveaway more than a month ago. I was so happy I won it! It’s actually pretty good with many great recipes. So far I made only one dish but it’s because I haven’t been feeling very creative in the kitchen lately.

Starting my day with a pill for heartburn. Each day, every day 🙂

Today after my morning routine I saw my daughter playing with a tripod so I joined her.

There is a photographer’s soul growing inside her.

Have a great weekend, my friends. I’m getting back to my book 🙂

we can’t wait to see the baby, too… she is not very cooperative and even with our ultrasounds we didn’t get the chance to see her face… so we are really anxious to finally have her with us.

I LOVE your day 82 combo! The photos are beautifully paired, and that jean jacket/sweater you’ve got going on – amazing! I’ve got a little bit of outfit-envy! 🙂

I love the one of you sitting on the sofa reading on your laptop (81) . I also like the two shots together (82), nice angles and just a hint of that baby bump in the first one! Your little girl is so intent on seeing how that tripod works – she’s so sweet and is soon to get a little sister!
I quite sympathize with you for those last days of your pregnancy, I know how you feel as the end (which is actually the beginning!) draws near!
    Warm wishes and good luck!

Sandra, my Little One is just amazed by my camera every single time she sees me with it. She wants to help me to put the cap on or to take it off and she is so happy when I let her do it. Today when I let her play with the tripod she was in heaven… She didn’t want to stop.
…and yes… those last days… and later those first days… can’t wait to just have it behind and get back to normal 🙂 (WILL IT GET NORMAL WITH TWO KIDS, ANYWAY?!)
      Thank you for visiting!

Goodness, you do look like you’re ready to have the new little one arrive. I’m quite impressed with anyone who can do a self-portrait, and yours are great! I’ve not had the courage to try it.

Goodness, Teresa… I am so really ready for that to happen!!! With the courage for self-portraits… well… it’s a long story. I guess I should just write a post about it. It wasn’t easy and today it’s just a routine like brushing the teeth.

oh Jennifer, that pic was a pain in the butt really. It was too dark and I struggled to take a decent shot. It was late and I had no other idea for a selfie so I finally gave up, sore and tired from bending back and fort, left and right and from my daughter climbing all over me.
So, I’m happy that somebody like it becasue it means it was worth the pain 😉

Thank you! Today it feels like I’m totally back to my normal self. Changing everything in our apartment. Cleaning, moving furnitures (my husband’s part which he hates)… just nesting like crazy, I guess 🙂
