We start our day from, what dad would say, buziaks.
In Polish “buziak” means “kiss” but we do not add “s” at the end of plural nouns. So “buziaks” is not plural for “kisses”… but it’s always funny to hear my husband speaking Polish and trying to figure it out. He has blast listening to my English, so from time to time is good for the situation to switch places.
So, yes… there is many buziaks every morning and through the entire day.
These days, after we have our breakfast there is a time to drink juice from a cup, just like a big girl. In meantime I try to tie her hair in pony tail so she will get used to to wearing it. It’s not as easy as it may sound. She wears it for 10 minutes and that’s it. She’s done for the day.
After the juice-time there is a morning dancing-time:

In between, and believe me, dancing always lasts much longer that 1 minute, she “reads”. She picks a book, she gives me one, she takes two. She reads hers and I have to read what she gives me. Most of the time the books she brings to me come from my book shelf… so at the end I find myself reading to her George Orwell in Polish.
Later, there is time to make a call. Dad’s on the phone all day, and she likes to imitate every single thing we do these days.
Almost always there is something cooking in the kitchen.
And before we all go to bed there is a time to play. These days her favorite activity is to wear a bucket over her head while trying to run over our dog. Quick peek if she is on the right path and the chase keeps going.
That’s an example of one of our lazy and ordinary day. There is much more going on sometimes and my camera is not always with us.

I love your day in photos! So much love and fun 🙂 I love reading with my kids too. Children do know how to turn an ordinary day into extraordinary 🙂 Truly beautiful moments, Ewa.
The composition of your first photo and clever texture – makes it so special and emotive. Definitely a photo to keep to look back on.
such lovely images especially the photos of the little girl..she looks so sweet!
I love that last part…where a bucket on your head while trying to run over the dog! That is adorable!

Oh she’s sooooo cute! 🙂
Love hearing about your day & that bucket on her head brings back so many memories of when the kids were that little.
That is so precious. The pictures are sweet, and the last one in particular just a fun one!
Too cute. My 2 year old now calls your little one her baby. I play the video, she comes running and says “Mommy! Ook, my baby!” and starts dancing. 😀
These are seriously sweet! The color of your daughter’s hair is simply gorgeous!

oh – these are SO sweet!!! 🙂 I love seeing all of these photo from your day. I miss the simplicity of that season of life.
Her hair tied up is gorgeous! But, they never want to leave it up, do they? ha! 🙂
I couldn’t get the dancing link on you tube. Did you embed it? I want to see!
She does not want to have her hair tide up at all. I try it every day so she would get use to, but she is just as stubborn as her parents… .

LOL! I saw it! She has the hair shake down! Made me laugh. Could she be any cuter? I think not.
she is a little performer. I’ve got another movie in which she can’t dance (or she is too lazy to stand up) but she moves her toes as the music goes… it’s just too funny…
How CUTE!
I love how you captured a day in the life. What a cutie you have! Thank you for sharing and for linking up with Tones on Tuesday!
