Blossom Crochet Bracelet

I’m pretty upset today for what happened yesterday to my post @World Moms Blog. I was actually criticised for being honest and for trying to explain MY CULTURE (my language). I know I might have been too honest and to rough with the term I used BUT we are all adults and we should be able to talk openly and freely about things that are different and not comfortable to talk about. Nevermind… .

Today I’ll be quick because I do not feel like I want to have anything to do with the Internet and people.

First of all I want to thank you SJ @Home Maker on a Dime. She featured me for my crochet necklace. My mood is already better 🙂

Yesterday I finished my new(est) crochet creation. I made it from the mixed patterns that I used for my three previous crochet things. I know that they are actually all the same color (and very similar patterns), but I’ve got those yarns and I do not want to buy more before I finish those that I have. At the same time, whatever I make it matches 🙂

The belt:

Pattern:

CH 33
Row 1: Linked TR in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th ch from hook, Linked TR in each remaining ch across, CH 1, turn
Row 2: SC in first 2 TR, Ch 3, sk 3 TR, (button hole made) SC in ea remaining TR, CH 4, turn
Row 3: Linked TR in each SC across to button hole, 3 Linked TR in button hole, Linked TR in last 2 SC, CH 1,

3 sc in the next stich and every stich around (Your work will start to “ruffle”) if it’s too much you can make 2 sc instead of 3. Joining with SL sc.

Fasten off

For the Flower and budd I used this pattern – crochet necklace (pdf file) from the necklace I made the other day.

For the button I use this pattern:

Start a magic ring leaving a long tail for sewing.

1. SC 10 into the magic ring, join with a SL ST to first SC to close circle.
2. Pull the tail left for sewing tight to close the magic ring and tie a knot at the base so that the ring does not expand.
3. CH 1,Work 2 sc in the next sc and every sc thereafter… SL ST to CH 1 to close. Tie off and weave in this end but leave the long tail unwoven so that you can attach the button wherever you need it.

(my base for this pattern was this one).

Sew everything to the places where you want it to be. Enjoy! 🙂

Have a great weekend, everybody! I hope that this time I won’t offend anybody because I do not celebrate 4th of July as Americans don’t celebrate 11th of November (or … wait… maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that!) 😉

The bracelet is sooo cute! It’s all right, Ewa. My intro post on there received some negative marks as well. Even though, I read it and reread it several times before submitting and not thinking I wrote anything negative. But then, I can’t help that I don’t have all positive things to say always. Off to go check out what was written so I can support you in the comments. HUGS!!!
