“Strawberries”

It rained all night. Morning was the same.
At 10 am we had left the house for field trail in Porterville. I’d never been to anything like this.
In half way there I’d lost my last pieces of hope to take one (at least) picture over there. The rain was awful. I have nothing to protect my camera from the rain….
So many beautiful springer spaniels in one place!!! So many great shots I saw in my head while watching them searching, and chasing birds. Oh well…

After some time on the field we hit the road again. On our way back we stopped to buy some amazingly red, and big strawberries
02/06/10 -pink strawberries
I know, they aren’t so red in this pic 😉 l liked this effect, so I decided to make this pic the Photo of the day, but in the same time I do want to share the redness, and freshness of those fruits.
    Aren’t they look delicious… 🙂

  1. I’ve gotten to where I carry a 1 gallon zip lock baggy with me. I’ve pre-cut the hole for the lens. The mouth of the bag is big enough for me to get my hands into so I can operate the camera efficiently…if not a bit awkwardly. I leave the camera strap around my neck when not in use, with the zip lock sealed up to the straps. Keeping the camera dry and handy…

But dang lady….I sure do like the looks of these creamy strawberries…can I have some please? (LOL) Ya did good, would be kind enough to explain how you get that soft, creamy texture of the photo? I like that.

  2. Soft creamy texture… Hm… I play with Saturation sometimes, and all my photos are taken on manual. So sometimes it just happens to be that way 🙂
You can call it “happy accident”.
But to get that texture I’d play with Saturation in the first place 🙂
